A stabbing on Parkview Avenue in Pelham Bay Tuesday night sent 64-year-old Michael Dibartolo to the hospital.

He spoke exclusively with News 12 following his release from the hospital.

Dibartolo said he heard a knock on the door and found a man waiting outside who was claiming to be a police officer.

Seconds later, he said the man punched him in the face - knocking him to the ground. Dibartolo said his attacker proceeded to kick him in his face before pulling out a knife to stab him.

The entire incident was caught on camera.

He said he was stabbed twice: once in his leg and once in his rear. He also suffered a head injury.

Dibartolo said he didn't recognize his attacker because he was in disguise, wearing sunglasses and a hat. No arrests have been made, according to police.
