The city is in for high temperatures this week, and officials have some tips to help manage the heat.
City officials recommend trying and stay in the shade whenever possible, wear light-colored clothing and wear sunscreen. Dermatologists recommend wearing an SPF of at least 30.
If you're heading to the park, your best bet is to find a spot in the shade or go to one that has water fountains in the park - anything that will help keep you cool this week.
Kids will use the swings to catch a breeze. Others are braving the sun getting in an outdoors workout, holding their water close by. The key they say is to stay hydrated.
Also, try to limit your time outside and remember to stay hydrated.
