Con Edison is offering incentives to building owners to install safe charging stations for e-bikes and scooters.

The incentive is part of the program Micromobility and is designed to enhance safety and access to a clean mode of transportation. The incentives would cover the cost to upgrade to the electrical equipment in the building and 50% of the cost of any infrastructure upgrade.

Officials say increasing the use of these devices will reduce the amount of fossil fuels in the air and lead to quieter communities.
