St. Raymond Academy for Girls basketball team goes from 0 wins to city champs

The school has not won a title in any sport for decades. Now they’re in possession of the trophy for tier four of the Girls Catholic League.

The St. Raymond Academy for Girls’ basketball team captured their first title in school history after winning zero games just one year ago.
The school has not won a title in any sport for decades. Now they’re in possession of the trophy for tier four of the Girls Catholic League.
They entered the playoffs as the lowest seed and weren’t fazed by the uphill battle. Their coach says the championship joy will help fuel them as they try to go for back-to-back titles next year.
